At a press conference with Federal Minister of Health Prof. Dr. Karl Lauterbach on 26 October 2022, the federal government confirmed its plan to no longer classify cannabis as a narcotic in the future. This would make it possible to prescribe cannabis with a regular prescription, which would reduce the administrative burden on doctors and pharmacists. MYCANNABIS supports this move and is committed to a secure supply of medicinal cannabis.
